Jacques Kallis Smashburger Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 450g (1 pound) ground beef (preferably 80% lean)

  • 1 teaspoon oil

  • Jacques Kallis Seasoning (to taste)

  • Burger buns

  • Toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese, sauces, etc.)

Preparation:

  • Divide the ground beef into four equal portions.

  • Gently shape each portion into a loose ball without compacting the meat too much.

  • Place a pan over medium-high heat.

  • Let it get hot before cooking.

Cook the Patties:

  • Lightly coat the hot skillet with oil.
  • Place one or two beef balls in the skillet, leaving enough space between them.
  • Using a sturdy spatula, press each ball down firmly until it’s about
    ¼-inch thick.
  • Season the patties with Jacques Kallis Seasoning.
  • Let them cook undisturbed for 1.5 to 2 minutes until the edges are crispy and browned.
  • Flip the patties, season again, and cook for another minute or until done to your preference.
  • Assemble the burgers. Add your preferred toppings
